### Absorption Journey As part of our larger absorption journey initiative, we place youth at small businesses and/or non profits (our hosting partners), for year long on-the-job training. During this time we take care of all HR related work. The salaries of the youth (who earns minimum wage), gets paid by our sponsors. The purpose of this is to upskill youth, give them the opportunity to proof themselves to their hosts, with chance of possibly gaining employment after their year is completed. ### Key Features of the Hosting Service - **Youth Placement:** Bighearts Africa matches trained and motivated youth with businesses that need extra capacity.
